DD#1 is off to the Grassroots Festival to camp at the Trumansburg Fairground with some friends and hear lots of traditional, contemporary and world music - 60+ bands. I realized that when I was her age, I went to Woodstock. She asked me if I heard Jimi Hendrix and, sad to say, I can't really remember. The myth of Woodstock has gotten all mixed up with the reality of it, and it's hard for me to separate what happened there from what I saw in the movie or read about later.
